A six-person investigation team sent by Governor Abdullahi Sule has done an on-the-spot evaluation in the Udege Development Area in an effort to determine what sparked the recent communal incident between the Ebe and Odu clans.

Losses in life and property were the outcomes of the conflict.

The Emir of Karshi, who is also the committee head, HRH Professor Sani Mohammed Bako, presided over the evaluation that was conducted on Saturday.

Notable team members included Barrister Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, the Attorney General, and the Commissioner for Justice.

A village chief and many others were killed in recent unrest in the Afo-speaking part of Nasarawa State, according to LEAKNEWS.

Members of the committee were escorted by highly armed security personnel on their visit to Mararaba Udege.
