Michael Folorunsho of Hellas Verona was named February’s Serie A Goal of the Month.
A 2-2 draw between Hellas Verona and Juventus at the Stadio Marcantanio Bentegodi was the game in which Folorunsho received the individual honor for his spectacular goal.
The 26-year-old put the game on the board in the 56th minute with a magnificent volley from outside the penalty area.
This is his first time winning the honor.
Hellas Verona have taken the inventive midfielder on loan from Serie A winners Napoli.
Folorunsho can play for both the Super Eagles and the Azzzuri because he was born in Italy to parents from Nigeria.
