British R&B musician Craig David has come clean about his two-year sex fast.

The musician, who is 43 years old, broke his celibacy to “heal his own issues” by stating that he needed space from close relationships.

Additionally, David mentioned that his creativity has been enhanced by avoiding close relationships.

For me, it’s been two years since I last had sexual relations. Funny thing is, he told TMZ, “My creativity was at a hundred percent, max, during those two years,” even if he was thinking, “Wow!” at the time.

With any luck, the “Fill Me In” singer’s period of celibacy will “mentally” prepare him for a future romantic partnership.
