Posted by Kcee, the singer, and Emeka Okonkwo, better known as E-Money, the brother of the late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, have promised to look after the children of Pope till they are old enough to be independent.
On Friday, he made the promise during the actor’s burial in Ukehe, Nsukka, Enugu State.
“I want to express my apologies to the family on behalf of my brother, E-Money, and our friends,” Kcee stated. This generation is fortunate to have Junior Pope. As a generation, we will always remember him.
My brother’s first son counts me among his godfathers. Our relationship with Junior Pope is quite old. Following the tragic event, my brother assured me that we would be responsible for his three boys until they reached adulthood.
However, the backing of loved ones is essential if we are to succeed. We are being quite forthright with the family about our willingness to provide for the three children to whatever extent they choose until they are old enough to do it on their own.
Things like school, food, clothes, and vacations will be taken care of by us. Our friend’s dying wish for his children’s better life is our motivation, not to boast. Furthermore, we have decided to assist this family in their efforts to educate their children.
According to the LEAKNEWS, Junior Pope and three others drowned when their boat went down in the Anam River in Anambra State on April 10, 2024, on the way back from a filming site.
