Thursday, when meeting in Istanbul with the board of directors of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association, Erdogan made the statements, according to the presidency’s website.
To mitigate the fallout from cutting off trade with Israel, the president said the government will work in tandem with businesses and engage with them.
As a result of Israel’s “non-stop violence” against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Turkey’s Trade Ministry stated that the government cut off all trade with Israel on Thursday.
According to Erdogan, other nations that are uneasy with the current scenario will follow this move.
