Gov Alia is part of BPSI’s executive team

The newly formed Benue Public Service Institute (BPSI) will be run by a management team appointed by the Benue State Government.
Tersoo Kula, chief press secretary (CPS) to governor Hyacinth Alia, made the announcement in a statement released in Makurdi on Wednesday.

As previously reported by IBOMLEAKNEWS, BPSI will train all civil servants in Benue State after its creation was approved by the state’s executive council on January 10.

The appointment of Prof. Terkura Tarnande as Director General, S. I. Shimave as Director of Programmes, and Cecilia Ohemu as Director of Administration and Finance were all confirmed by Alia, according to his spokesperson.

Mr. Moses Ode served as the institute’s librarian, while Dr. Mark Nyitse was the director of research and documentation.

According to the statement, the BPSI is also responsible for assisting in the professional development of Benue government employees through various strategic capacity building initiatives.
