Mbwas Mangut, technical adviser for Plateau United, blames his team’s loss to Bayelsa United on their slow response.
On Sunday, the Peace Boys were defeated by Bayelsa United 3-2 at the Samson Siasia Stadium.
But Mangut was proud of his team’s attitude in the last minutes of the game.
During his media interview, he said that his squad was “a little bit slow at the reverse end” in the early going, which allowed Bayelsa United to capitalize on their opportunities.
“Without making many changes to our formation, the boys played really well in the second half.”
Plateau United has 51 points, enough for sixth place in the league.
