Scotland: Balogun injury sets Celtic showdown in ruins for Rangers

Philippe Clement, manager of Rangers, has revealed that Leon Balogun hurt himself during Sunday’s home victory against Kilmarnock.

After a strong first half performance by Balogun, Ben Davies came on as a substitute.

The Nigerian international hurt his muscle, as Clement said after the match.

I had to replace Bologun since he was injured. Hopefully, it’s only a little muscle issue,” Clement said, as cited by Rangers Review.

In a few days, we will find out. Unfortunately, he had too much trouble to go on.

The Light Blues have used the 35-year-old in 14 league games so far this season.
