Risk of Rivers United’s Exit from the NPFL

Posted by

A possible withdrawal from the Nigeria Premier Football League has been hinted at by Rivers United.

This was sent to the Nigeria Football Federation in a document by the Pride of Rivers.

The former NPFL champions felt the league treated them unfairly because of what they did.

On Monday, one of the postponed games between Rivers United and Remo Stars will take place.

The club from Port Harcourt was involved in the CAF Confederation Cup, which caused the games to be postponed.

In order for Stanley Eguma’s team to finish all of its unfinished fixtures, the NPFL has been put on hold for one week.
