Premier League: “Worst move”—Don Hutchinson warns Chelsea target against joining Manchester United

Don Hutchinson, a former Liverpool player, has persuaded Michael Olise, who is being courted by Chelsea, to turn off a summer transfer to Manchester United.

Several clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United, have been connected to Olise recently.

But Hutchinson thinks Olise would have a hard time adjusting at Old Trafford, therefore he thinks he should go somewhere.

While appearing on BBC Radio Five Live, Hutchinson made the case that the winger would be better off playing for Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.

Hutchinson advised Michael Olise to pick his manager, not the club, while offering counsel.

I believe it would be Robbo’s [Paul Robinson] worst choice if he were to sign with Manchester United.

My guess is that he would just become disoriented. I believe he would struggle to find his footing on a Man United team filled with underwhelming talent, and he could wind up playing below his potential.

On the other hand, if he were to join a manager like Pep Guardiola, who is known to develop his players, I believe he would help him reach his full potential. As a young player, he is really captivating.
