In Sunday night’s Bundesliga match, Bayer Leverkusen dominated Bochum 5-0, with goals from Victor Boniface and two others.
Boniface converted a penalty kick toward the end of the first half to put Leverkusen up 2-0.
Nathan Tella, one of his international teammates, won the penalty.
Boniface scored his 20th goal of the season for Die Werkself in all competitions.
With this victory, Xabi Alonso’s team now has 50 games remaining in the season without a loss.
The Bundesliga championship has already been won by Bayer Leverkusen.
Both the DFB Pokal and the UEFA Europa League finals feature them.
