Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office: The footage of the assault and why Diddy will not face charges

Posted by

Despite video evidence of Sean Combs, aka Diddy, allegedly attacking his former signee and estranged lover Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel corridor, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has stated that it would not charge the troubled rapper and music entrepreneur.

“Unfortunately, we would not be able to press charges because the conduct in question took place after the statute of limitations for assault attacks ended in 2016,” the prosecutor’s office stated.

The press office went on to say that the authorities had not filed charges against Diddy in connection with the assault shown in the video.

Witnesses and victims are encouraged by the Los Angeles County Attorney’s office to report the incident to the police or contact the Bureau of Victim Services for assistance.

Video footage acquired by CNN showed Diddy thrashing and beating his ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel corridor in Los Angeles in 2016, according to LEAKNEWS.

Several sexual assault allegations are being brought against Diddy at the same time as the tape is emerging.
