Rumor has it that Thomas Frank and Mauricio Pochettino are in the running to succeed Ten Hag as United’s manager.
United would be making a mistake, according to Van Basten, if they were to replace the former Ajax coach in preparation for next season.
“It was a disappointing match, but it’s impressive that he prevailed against City with a depleted squad,” Van Basten informed Rondo.
It was crucial that he won the FA Cup despite having little opportunities with the players. So, they play football in Europe. When it comes to Manchester United, I still believe he is the former man who can box. Some people need to give him a break.
“I really believe he can elevate Manchester to a whole new level,” he went on to say.
