U-17 WWC: Flamingos to identify team rivals On Saturday

The 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup opponents for Nigeria’s Flamingos will be known on Saturday.

FIFA’s website states that the draw will take place in the Dominican Republic at the Frey Antón de Montecinos monument.

Avelino Cuadra, a writer, football analyst, and content developer, will host the draw ceremony.

The draw will be conducted by FIFA’s director of competitions, Jaime Yarza, with assistance from Mexican player Tatiana Flores and Dominican athlete Thais Herrera.

There will be sixteen teams competing, including the Flamingos.

The team led by Bankole Olowookere placed third in the last championship, which was held in India.

Starting on October 16, the Dominican Republic will host the competition.
