The ‘Oliver Twist’ singer acknowledged that Don Jazzy was an integral part of his creative development.
During a Tuesday video clip in which he formally visited Don Jazzy to present him with the invitation card for his 20th anniversary dinner in the music industry, he revealed this.
He said the sentimental occasion brought back memories of all they had accomplished together.
With the comment, “It’s @DONJAZZY again! My 20 year journey cannot be complete!” D’banj shared the video on his X handle.
It was with a pang of nostalgia that I extended an invitation to our anniversary supper. I can’t help but think about all the wonderful times and achievements we’ve had as a team over our 20 years in this field.

In 2004, Mo’Hits Records was co-founded by D’banj and Don Jazzy. Don Jazzy stated that disagreements in interests were the cause behind Mo Hits’ disbandment in 2012.
Mavins Record Label was founded by Don Jazzy, while DB Record Label was formed by Dbanj.
