After losing in Monday’s Asian Champions League quarterfinal, Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has promised his squad will recover and return much stronger.

We all remember when Al-Ain eliminated Al-Nassr from the Asian Champions League in the quarterfinals via penalty shootout.

Despite falling behind 1-0 after the first leg and 3-0 on aggregate, Al-Nassr fought their way back to force overtime.

After Ronaldo missed a golden opportunity in regulation time, he equalized the score on aggregate in the 118th minute with a penalty kick for 10-man Al-Nassr.

In the 3-1 shootout loss, the Portuguese player scored Al-Nassr’s lone goal.

Also on Tuesday, Ronaldo praised the club’s fans for their support in a tweet on his X account.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the support. The two of us will figure out how to recover and even thrive in the future. Always united!
