In Monday night’s 1-1 tie between Napoli and Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium, Victor Osimhen scored, tying an old record for the club.

In the 51st minute, the Partenopei’s score was set in motion by the Nigerian international.

The striker joins an elite group of Napoli players who have scored in six straight matches against the same Serie A opponent.

The first player to do so, against Bologna, was Dries Mertens, a former captain of Napoli.

When Juventus played Lazio, Gonzalo Higuain also scored twice.

For Napoli in Serie A this year, Osimhen has scored fifteen goals.
