In response to the recent kidnapping of more than 280 students and faculty members from Government Secondary School and LEA primary school in Kuriga Ward, Chikun Local Government Area, Governor Uba Sani and the people of the state have received the support and sympathy of Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, Speaker of the ninth Kaduna Assembly.

On Thursday, bandits struck, infuriating the nation and prompting fresh demands for immediate response to the growing security threats in the area and the nation as a whole.

The Speaker urged the security forces to act quickly in order to free the kidnapped students, according to a statement released by Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani, his media adviser.

He underlined the importance of working together to return the victims safely and hold the guilty accountable.

Public vigilance and cooperation with security forces are crucial in the joint endeavor to reduce the pervasive insecurity that afflicts the country, and Zailani was pleased with Governor Uba Sani’s steadfast resolve to tackle the problem in the state.

He emphasized the need for a unified front to fight banditry and other criminal activities that endanger the country’s security, highlighting the significance of cooperation and unity.

He noted that since taking office, Sani has handled the state’s security concerns with aggressive leadership.

“His consistent efforts to address and mitigate the impact of insecurity in the state has been evident of his dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of the state’s residents,” he stated.
