French coach Luis Enrique has stated that PSG will be a better team without Kylian Mbappe.
On Friday, Mbappe announced his departure from the Ligue 1 winners for the upcoming summer.
After seven years with the club, the club’s all-time leading scorer decided to go, and Enrique has stated that he understands.
When asked about Kylian Mbappé, the only thing I can say is how amazing he is.
“I see why he made that choice. He is a club legend after seven years of service. This group has benefited much from his contributions, and he has done the same for them. To him, I send my warmest wishes for the years to come.
Having him on our squad has made me proud. Despite his leadership role, he has always maintained a positive attitude, which has been an asset to our team, Enrique told reporters on Saturday.
