Posted by Emmanuel Petit, a former Arsenal player, has pleaded with Michael Olise, who is an invitee to the 2021 Super Eagles, to pick Arsenal over Chelsea and Manchester United.
During the summer, Olise was said to be interested in joining Chelsea, Arsenal, or Manchester United.
Although his season with Crystal Palace was limited, the winger had an outstanding performance.
Olise helped Crystal Palace escape the relegation zone and finish in mid-table despite only making 13 starts due to injuries. He produced 10 goals and five assists.
Petit spoke to Grosvenor Sport about the 22-year-old in the midst of interest from Premier League clubs:
In Palace’s 4-0 victory over Manchester United on May 6, I witnessed Michael Olise and I thought he was fantastic.
Despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, Arsenal should make every effort to acquire his services. When he and Eze performed their feats during the game, they would have needed crutches to leave the stadium when I was a kid.
Olise is more suited to play on Arsenal’s right wing, but I would choose both players if I had to pick. Given Arsenal’s ongoing need for that and Olise’s remarkable growth over the past few years, it would be highly beneficial for them to have both Saka and him on board.
“As someone who wants ambition in their career and feels my place is no longer at Crystal Palace, I would also choose Arsenal if I were Olise.”
