In Sunday’s 3-2 triumph over Plateau United at Yenagoa’s Samson Siasia Stadium, Magbisa scored the game’s first goal for the Prosperity Boys.

“Winning this game was crucial for us. When asked about the win in the interview that followed, he expressed his gratitude to God.

Scoring in my season debut makes me extremely delighted. It is a solid one, and I would like to carry on from that point.

We worked really hard in training and tried our hardest. Please know that we will do all in our power to avoid relegation, and I want the supporters to know that.

After 34 games, Bayelsa United has 42 points, enough for 17th place in the league.
