Robert Sanchez has the full support of his new boss, Enzo Maresca, at Chelsea.
Maresca has informed the club that Sanchez will not be leaving before preseason begins, and he has already started organizing the team.
“More on Chelsea plans to continue with Robert Sanchez as goalkeeper,” said transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano on X.
Adding to the reasons to retain Sanchez, Ben Roberts has been nominated for the position of Head of Global Goalkeeping.
“As mentioned yesterday, Enzo Maresca has also informed #CFC that he is pleased to begin collaborating with Sánchez.”
Sanchez was the starter last year, but he lost the starting job to Djordje Petrovic due to an injury.
