Posted by Big Brother Naija star Ka3na has set the record straight, denying rumours that she was a divorcee when her British spouse Jones died away last year. In fact, she was still married to him when he passed away.
She went on to say that she is now Jones’s widow after being lawfully and conventionally wedded to him.
“I have no intention of remarriage or changing my marital status by dropping my late husband’s name,” the reality star continued.
She made the announcement in a recent Instagram post.
“Public Announcement: I feel compelled to address a misunderstanding that has been going around in the community,” says the message.
Some people think it’s true that I was already divorced from my spouse when he died too soon.
I couldn’t agree with you more. I am now the widow of Mr. Jones, to whom I was traditionally and lawfully married. My current marital status is unchanged, and I have no plans to remarry or change it by removing my husband’s surname.
“Please, everyone, take this statement seriously and don’t spread false information in any way. Thank you.”
