The Super Eagles will face South Africa and Benin in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and the injured list now includes Victor Osimhen and Bruno Onyemaechi.

Isimhen, who hurt himself last weekend in Napoli’s Serie A match against Bologna, reportedly missed Monday’s training session because of the injury. This information comes from DAILY POST.

The striker had rehabilitation treatment done for a muscular injury, according to data available on Napoli’s official website.

This weekend’s league match between Francesco Calzona’s team and Fiorentina is in jeopardy because of the injury.

Bruno Onyemaechi, a left back, will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Another key injury question mark for both matches is AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze.

Tyrone Ebuehi, Moses Simon, and Zaidu Sanusi will not be participating in the qualifications because of their long-term injuries.

William Troost-Ekong, who served as vice captain and had surgery following the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has just resumed training.
